No fluff here. Insightul and thought-provoking book!

I must say I really liked this book! Immediately from the first page, it reminded me of Freakonomics. Freakonomics is a very entertaining book that talks in great detail about all kinds of incentives and how they make us tick. How to Be Motivated, however, has a different and practical purpose: to teach us how to use incentives and motivation in order to improve our own lives. And this is where Ms. Seymour really shines.
The author does know her stuff, and it shows; she puts a lot of thoughts in order to present the material in a way that is informative, yet enjoyable and easy to read. The idea of self-motivation sounds easy, and perhaps it is, but taking real steps to improving yourself and your life is anything but! The author offers step-by-step suggestions on how to make motivation work for you. You could buy a very long book, or dozens of books for that matter, or you could read this one in under an hour and simply follow her advice.
Another thing I've liked about the book is that even though Ms. Seymour is obviously a devout Christian, she never pushes her system of beliefs on her readers. That's a very commendable attitude. Treat the tools she offers you as a call for action and you will not be disappointed.

How to Be Motivated Was a Good Read.

I found this book very interesting. Lately I have been in kind of a rut and wanted something to help me get out of it. So, I began to do some searching and found this curios book. I decided to purchase it and once I began reading it I could not put it down. This book has really helped me to change my outlook on things.
It is said that if we change the way we look at things then things change. I guess that is true because now I look at things much differently thanks to the information I got reading this book. I recommend this book for anyone that has been like me, stuck in a rut and wants to change but does not necessarily know how or where to get started.

Everyone could use a little help motivating themselves from time to time. P. Seymour does a terrific job laying the blueprint for motivational success. This is a must read guide for anyone looking to pull themselves up and get moving in the right direction.
