I was an officer in the Israeli Defence Forces (a.k.a IDF), and loved every second of it. I was a workaholic, had absolutely no time to eat, sleep or have a personal life and couldn't imagine having a different way of living.

Fortunately, I broke my back and simply couldn't work my 18 hours a day anymore. I was injured, handicapped and in constant pain. The army wasn't going to fire me and I couldn't resign. My life came to a dead end. However, it wasn't in my nature to give up.

I developed a method of my own and started working 5X less hours, got promoted twice and was home by lunch every day.

I was taking care of my health, doing my job and being appreciated for it - all thanks to this simple method I developed, and in less than an hour you will find out how I did it.

This book is not about bragging, nor is it about theory - I was simply put in a situation where I had no other choice and these are the actual steps I took.

I am incredibly lucky to have the support of my family and friends, and without it I would probably be in a wheel chair, writing a completely different book.

I chose to write this book in a free style, because I believe this is the only way to get the message across. In some parts of this book you may dislike me, or other characters due to that style of writing; Please bare in mind, that without those strict commanders, careless subordinates and insensitive corporate rules I would have never become the person I am today, and most certainly would never have had the chance to share this with you. I am grateful to each and every one of them.

If you don't think you can't, you can!

In this book you will find a unique circumstance of solider survival. You will find a person forced, through a seemingly bizarre injury, to find a way to survive life within the IDF. Culturally from a different place than many of us, Julie describes the writing style as free style; this was actually brilliant as the no-holds barred style brings you into a soldiers life. Have you ever been a soldier? If not get prepared for a bumpy ride; military logic, and the necessity to develop her own method to administratively survive the workload is what you are about to experience. There were a few points at which I thought no f'n way, I'd fire her in a heart beat... then I reminded myself to take off my westerner civilian head - that I needed to be a 25 year old soldier in the IDF, a female soldier at that. Something I knew absolutely nothing about; from story or personal experience. We are simply talking about administrative survival, and doing what it takes to get the job done. It wasn't always Barbie pretty - but it was 'effective'.

Through-out her story Julie never believes that she can't. Indeed, there are many opportunities where she admits, that some days she did not know how to. But, she is constantly in the game, playing combinations until she proves to herself - that if you don't think you can't - You Can.

Read this book - you will find many parallels to your own circumstance.

When you stop lying you find the truth

While reading this book I felt angry on Julie at first, how could she let herself work so hard and hurt her health (even when the doctor told her to rest she didn't listen), but then all my anger turned into amazement. Julie showed that with endless amount of will power and some logical thinking she could do whatever she wants, even what seems impossible.

After reading the book I kept on thinking for a few minutes, I found it eye opening. There's a lot to learn from Julie's life experience and the way she handled the problem life handed to her.
If you ever struggled with time management, you have something to learn from this book. I can't wait for the second book.

Very Authentic and Great Points

This book had such a refreshing and authentic voice to it. The author explained how she went from 18+ hour workdays to 4 hour workdays incorporating skills. These skills and ideas are something that all of us can incorporate into our lives - especially our work lives. I can't wait to read the rest of the Corporate Games Series.

Adult/High School-Reincarnation is at the core of this story that unfolds through the eyes of four characters. Walter was a soldier in World War II who died during battle and whose spirit is not ready to leave Earth. Andrew is Walter's best friend, and the one who convinced him to enlist in the war. Michael is his reincarnation, who 40 years later at the age of 21 is an aimless pot farmer in California. Finally, there is Mary Ann, Walter's fiancee, who married Andrew. One evening, Walter awakens Michael's perception of his former self by communicating with him through a Ouija board and asks for help with some unfinished business that he left behind. If the novel's premise seems complicated in soap-opera-like proportions, it is. Hyde, however, is a masterful storyteller. Thoroughly engrossing, the book does not allow for skipping a single page as she keeps the momentum up by surprising readers with new details about Walter's life throughout the story. They add to the mystery of why the young man's spirit remains earthbound and keep readers guessing about what it will take for him to cross over to the other side. Both sentimental and heartwarming, this novel delivers all the ingredients for a day of leisure reading.

Walter's Purple Heart, another great CRH read

Reincarnation? An interesting topic, left for the reader to decide. Either way as usual CRH created a heartwarming book told from two sides, Walter and Michael. I loved both characters, whose lives become entangled with Andrew and Mary Ann. The author does such a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life, touching us, the readers.

Not for diabetics

The information about the berries and how-to is good, the book has been well-researched, but all that sugar in the berries is just not diabetic friendly at all. One smoothie would have to be broken down into just a few sips per meal if you don't want to spike your blood sugar off the charts... :(

I bought this books because all the info in it. I think is a great book has tons of information on the best ingredients for smoothies, talks about how fruits and vegetables help combating certain medical conditions, how to store them, importance of right blender . Overall you'll have everything you need to know about how to stay healthy, loose weight, more free info on he website, prevent some diseases or control them if you have them, like diabetes high cholesterol etc. It is easy to follow the instructions. After buying this book I think you are set or you can buy a book only with smoothies recipes and you are set. I lost 10 pounds since I started.

I admit, I bought the book because of the mouth-watering images. But the content is rich and well researched. The author seems to have done his homework as far as nutritional info goes which gave me confidence that his recipes should be good for me. Therefore i skipped most of the "fine print" and went straight into the smoothies, which are delicious...

Solomon and Sheba

Gotta Love this One! I'm a fan of the Holy Bible and a never-miss churchgoer, something that began in my native Honolulu. So you can see when I began to hear about Solomon and Sheba, I looked forward to reading it. I can only say I loved it. As a man who is fond of the plus--size beauty, I found Sheba Solomon, 41, fascinating. She stands up for what she believes in, is a gifted woman who uses those gifts to great advantage. Her relationship with her white televangelist husband, Marty is deftly done and won my heart. I believed in their love and their passion. Both had known grievous losses and they managed to pull thru.

Life hasn't been easy for Marty Solomon. When he was 14, his beloved mother confessed on her deathbed that he may be the son of her Black lover. He fell apart for several years until he finally managed to pull himself up from death's door and go on to become a pastor and a televangelist like his uncle who mentored him. Now 34, his megachurch is thriving, his marriage is on fire. When Sheba gets pregnant, Marty decides he needs to know his background in case his coming child has an illness that will require knowing. And so his life takes a turn with painful twists and disappointments. Trouble brews at his church, too, when a powerful deacon hates the modernistic sermons he preaches on sexuality-sensuality, and vows to bring him down. But Marty is determined to persevere. Will he win? Or will he lose Sheba and the life they both love? You'll find out like I did, and I think you'll read with deep interest.

Francine Craft is a veteren author whose books I have been reading from Arabesque and Kimani days. She does not disappoint in this latest novel. I would classify this as an interracial, christian romance. Sheba Davis, lost her first husband to suicide. Robert Solomon also lost his spouse tragically. He was a telvangelist and she was the minister of music at Church of the Holy Redeemer.

This novel had a touch of everything, and shows that even in a church community there is greed, backstabbing, jealously etc. There was a lot of tragedies, but love triumphed over all. There were a lot of sub characters and i had a little difficulty keeping up with them at times.

The only drawback that I found was the length of the novel. At times I found myself skimming over some of the details that I didn't find interesting. Over all it was a very good read and very affordable.

This book deals with forgivness to the highest level! From the first page to the last the story will keep you spellbound. The storyline was amazing and the way Francine presented this story adding scriptures made the story even more special. This was a very emotional story. You may shed a tear to two like I did while reading this book.

I couldn't pronounce half the words in the book, but the story was great. The characters were great and it seemed that each page had a new and exciting thing going on. I really enjoyed the book and look forward to reading the sequel.
