This book screams for a redo.

The 2 star rating is for the potential I see in this story. I love stores about abused women fighting back and breaking away, and I am a huge fan of interracial romances involving African American women and Asian men - love it! I really wanted to purchase this book for those two reasons; however, I could not even make it through the sample. There were way too many typos to ignore and it definitely took away from the story and just made it difficult to follow. Also, the writing was extremely sloppy......I mean extremely sloppy, which surprised me in a book that costs almost $5 bucks.
If you read my last book review for "Beast", you will noticed that I mentioned taking a much needed hiatus from the IR romance genre due to the lack of great books out there. This book is a perfect example of what I was venting about. These authors expect the readers to spend their hard earned money, and in this economy, it is hard earned, on their books, yet they give us such shoddy works like this. I am tired of being short changed and being forced to request refunds for these ebooks. I need for my IR romance authors (not all because there are still some great ones out there and you know who they are) to start doing better and start giving us quality stories. Hire a proofreader, use spell check, do numerous re-reads, have your story reviewed by strangers or unbiased individuals (cause family and friends will lie to you).
I love IR romance stories!!!! I spend the most time and money on books in this genre. I just want these authors to do better and start producing quality books that are worth my time and money.

I read the synopsis for this story and thought it would be a good read but it wasn't all that I thought it would be. There were quite a few grammatical errors and the story didn't flow very well and the characters weren't believable in their interactions with each other. It was a good idea for a story but could have been written better.

Wow she can't spell for shit, horrible short story...I cannot believe the book, it had potential but she left out so many words, spelled words wrong simple words like Kung fu, listen, suspicious, it was terrible terrible read
