About the Author
Sandra Miller is a violinist who has performed with the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra, the UNLV Symphony Orchestra, and played in the band for a Kenny Rogers show. She's done productions of Oklahoma!, Le Nozze di Figaro, Madame Butterfly, and too many others to list. She's been playing and teaching music for thirty years. Her fiction works have previously appeared in Alienskin Magazine, Long Story Short, and Bewildering Stories.
Her poetry has appeared at Storyhouse, and one of her poems won the Grand Prize in the FictionAddiction 2002 poetry contest.
Her non-fiction articles have appeared in Writer's Journal, Music for the Love of It, Antiques & Collecting Magazine, Writing World, Vision for Writers, and Writer's Forum, a Writer's Digest publication. She can be found on the web at sandra-miller.com

An intriguing premise, imagining a world without music, and what happens when it is reintroduced. The author's voice is very down-to-earth, with lots of foreshadowing.

Meh... you might get sucked in eventually.

At first the dialog was difficult. Even throughout the book some of the characters just didn't feel right. As the book continued I started to like the story. I really dislike the main character she is flighty and very indecisive, it makes the book more difficult to read! Hopefully the rest of the series gets better as you will have to pay for them.

The indecisiveness about who to trust when, keeps the reader on a roller coaster of emotions. Ending leaves me anxious to start the next book. Can't imagine living in any world without music.
