The Author
Andrew Brown is the Director who heads Deloitte’s Forensic and Dispute Services practice in Ireland. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK where he first specialised in the area of Forensic Accounting, before moving to Ireland in 2001 to continue that work. Andrew is one of the most experienced fraud investigators in the country and has been involved in actions leading to the conviction of individuals for offences of theft and false accounting. This has included giving evidence in the Irish, UK and US courts. He regularly writes and lectures on the prevention and investigation of fraud to a variety of bodies including Chartered Accountants Ireland and Dublin City University.
